T-Shirt Design Research

What Do I Like About This Design?
I like the way that the whole t-shirt is just plain, then there is a big patch of colour.

How Have They Used Colour, Shape, Text, Texture, Layering And Images?
They have used a plain white t-shirt, and in the middle, they have used lots of different colours, to make it look like the penguin has painted it. All the colours are all overlapped.

What Techniques Do I Think They Have Used To Create This Design?
They have used layering, to make the colour look as if it had been painted on. Also, this design uses lots of little circles.

How Could I Use These Ideas In My Own Design?
I could use the idea of layering the colours, to make my design look more interesting.

What Do I Like About This Design?
I like this design, because it looks like somebody has doodled all over the t-shirt.

How Have They Used Colour, Shape, Text, Texture, Layering And Images?
The design is mainly black and white, and some of the images are outlined with light blue.the images have all been layered, to make it look like its popping out of the t-shirt.

What Techniques Do I Think They Have Used To Create This Design?
They have used layering, to make the design better.

How Could I Use These Ideas In My Own Design?

Alex Box Research

Alex Box is a British make-up artist, and studied fine art at chelsea college of art. Renowned for her experimental and often surreal beauty looks, Alex’s work continues to chart the correlation between art, science, nature and the magical.

Here is some of her work....

I like her work, because it is unusual and different. Also, i like the way she has draw different things around the models face, to make it fit the different features on her face, this makes it look very
unusual and artistic.

My Animation

What Went Well:
We put all the photos together well, and used lots of different shot angles. This helped make the animation more interesting. Also, we used different sound affects to try and make it seem a little bit more realistic.

Next Time Target:
I think that if we did this again, we could make it a little bit longer, so it would be  little more interesting. Also, we could have taken more photos, to make it look better, and more realistic. Another thing i would do to improve, would to try and keep the camera in the same sort of place. This would make our animation look better.
